He was predeceased by: his parents, Dave Armour and Addie Jo Gant Armour; his wife Rubye Kennedy Armour; his grandson J. B. Armour II; and his siblings, Gene Armour and Lib A. Lunsford.
He is survived by: his sons, Lyn Armour (Debra) of Lexington, Barry Armour (Beth) of Lincolnton, Tracy Armour (Denise) of Rayle and Greg Armour (Angela) of Rayle; his grandchildren, John Armour, Mitch Davis, Casey Fleming, Brittany Wheatley, Bettina Armour, Dylan Armour, Walker Thornton, Colby Thornton, Justin Armour, Jackson Armour, Ethan Armour, Samantha Callaway, Cody Armour and Hunter Armour; and his siblings, Marvin "Bo" Armour of Washington and Joan Durham (Leo) of Kennesaw. He is also survived by great grandchildren.
