He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Pope McAvoy, Sr. and Susie Sherrer McAvoy; his daughter Julie Cara McAvoy; and his sister Mary Howard Hawes. He is survived by: his wife Faye Sisson McAvoy; his daughter Mary Ruth McAvoy Pollock (Larry) of Cottonwood Heights, Utah; and his brother-in-law Mickey Sisson (Nancy) of Washington. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
