She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Lewis Smith and Lois Patton Smith; her husband John Boatwright; and her siblings, R. L. Smith, Jett Smith and Frankie Jones.
She is survived by: her children, Connie B. Gamble, Kay Berry (Lamar) and John Wesley Boatwright; her grandchildren, Brooke Welborn (Bernard), Trey Berry (Sarah) and Rachel Holdsworth; and her siblings, James Smith (Sharon) and Martha Jones. She is also survived by six great grandchildren.
