We are sad to announce that on September 1, 2020, at the age of 82, Bonnie S. Boatwright of Rayle, Georgia, born in Lexington, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Lewis Smith and Lois Patton Smith; her husband John Boatwright; and her siblings, R. L. Smith, Jett Smith and Frankie Jones.

She is survived by: her children, Connie B. Gamble, Kay Berry (Lamar) and John Wesley Boatwright; her grandchildren, Brooke Welborn (Bernard), Trey Berry (Sarah) and Rachel Holdsworth; and her siblings, James Smith (Sharon) and Martha Jones. She is also survived by six great grandchildren.
