He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Stephen Sumner and Linnie Champion Sumner; and his brother Carlton Sumner. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Stegall Sumner of Ray City; his children, Lisa Sumner of Ray City, Mike Sumner (Jennifer) of Hahira and Jason Sumner (Kristal) of Ray City; his sister Shirley (Ed); his friends, Kennesaw and Margaret Sumner Newman of Tampa, FL; his brother Gene Sumner (India) of St. Marys; his sister-in-law Barbara Sumner of Brunswick; and his grandchildren, Abigail Sumner, Michael Sumner, Buck Sumner, Madison Sumner and Peyton Sumner.
