He was predeceased by: his father Rufus Fender; and his daughter Sandra Fender. He is survived by: his wife Debra Scarrow Fender; his children, Christina Phelps (Charles), Janette Hagler (Eric) and Kenneth Fender (Rachel); his brother Jimmy Fender; and his grandchildren, Orion, James, Joshua, Koby, Audrey, Jordan and Emma.
