He was predeceased by: his parents, Bennie Roberts and Novella Griffin Roberts; and his siblings, Juanita Jackson, Betty Jo Giddens and Billy Roberts.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Royals Roberts of Ray City; his sons, Robbie Roberts (Rachel) of Nashville, Lamar Roberts of Nashville and David Roberts of Alapaha; his stepdaughters, Lynn Ford (Ricky) of Ray City, Lorrie Allchin (John) of Nashville, Rev. Debbie Cone of Albany, Angela Cone of Ray City and Rhonda Brown (Jim) of Nashville; and his siblings, Pearl Bailey of Ray City, Lila Mae Ford of Ray City and Jimmy Roberts of Ontario, Canada. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
