With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Curtis Johnson of Ray City, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 21, 2025 at the age of 95. In the sacred silence of farewell, Curtis is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. He was predeceased by: his mother Maybelle Hart Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Nell Harnage Johnson of Ray City; his daughter Joan; his son-in-law Steve Tourville of Orlando, Florida; his grandsons, Matthew (Nikita Hays) and Kevin Tourville of Navarre, Florida; and his great grandchild Christopher Hays of Phoenix.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Boone Funeral Home (1804 S Hutchinson Ave, Adel, GA 31620). A burial will be held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 at 1:45 PM at the Sparks City Cemetery (150 Martin Luther King Jr Dr, Adel, GA 31647).
