It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Louise Akins Peters of Ray City, Georgia, born in Lakeland, Georgia, who passed away on July 3, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Nobles and Ruth Nobles; her husband Eston Peters; and her daughter Brenda Powe Wright. She is survived by: her son Bob Akins; her daughter-in-law Vivian of Holiday, FL; her grandchildren, Michael Powe, Sean Akins, Lynsey Akins and Alexis Akins Tilley; her stepdaughters, Tammy and Pam Peters; her great grandchildren, Adalay Brackin and Mason Walker; and her siblings, Cora Crosby, Margie Gallager, Francis Hagen and Ferris Nobles.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, there was no visitation or reception.
