He is survived by: his children, Vina Lee Collins Sobczak, Ed Collins, Douglas Wayne Collins and Christopher Lawton Collins; his grandchildren, Abe Sobczak, Sunshine Hartsfield, Jennifer Craig, Katie Murphy, Christopher Collins, Rebekah Waid, Rachael Gingerich and Abe Collins; and his half-siblings, Shirley Forrester and William Calvin Collins.
