He was predeceased by: his parents, John W. Ayers and Yvonne Marshall Ayers; and his brothers, Steve Ayers and Mike Ayers. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Sue Ayers; his daughters, Kylee (Jose Zulueta) and Celeste (Chad Manzano); his siblings, Dan (Becky Ayers), Mark (Kate Ayers), James (Gina Ayers), Bill Ayers, Joy (Darrell Pirkle) and Gin (Sal Paratore); his sister-in-law Rose Mary Ayers; his grandchildren, Sharayah, Melesso Quarles, Meilin, Zane Patton, Zoe Manzano, Jaidyn Zulueta and Kristopher Zulueta; and his great grandchildren, Zeke, Reina Quarles, Brooklynn and Brantley Patton.
