He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Norrell and Mildred Surratt Norrell; his son Robie Norrell; and his siblings, Horace Norrell, Jo Ann Collins, Mary Young and Patsy Martin.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Wilson Norrell; his son Jason Norrell of Chickamauga, GA; and his sisters, Sybil Jennings of Calhoun, GA and Debbie Jennings of White, GA. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
