She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Deering and Viola Wilson Deering; and her son Jeffery Taylor. She is survived by: her husband James Sidney Talyor; her stepmother Leola Mitchel Deering; her children, Shana Cheeks (Mark), Melody Gilley (Larry), Dawna Taylor (Culton Thomas), Lena Freeman (Mark), Quinlan Rakin (Narges) and Jon Taylor (Heather); her grandchildren, Naomi, Tara, Ashlee, Cadi, Cody, Dylan, Jake, Corinna, Emma, Marnie, Sydnei, Cyrus, Sophia, Anson, Abbi and Aiden; and her great grandchildren, Mark Lucas, Ruby, Rosie, Conner, Melanie, Sophia, Adelie, Lily, Kylie, Brayden, Rawlings, Sheperd, Archer, Penelopi, Noalie, Lyrik, Ansen, Isaac and Zachary. She is also survived by other friends and relatives.
Her family will have a gathering of friends at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home on Sunday, September 19, 2021, from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Instead of flowers, the family suggests that donations to help with the life-altering expenses faced by her daughter, Shana Cheeks, who was with her in the accident.
