He was predeceased by: his parents, Rance John Thrift and Mary Jane Gilstrip. He is survived by: his wife Lynda Cannon Thrift; his sons, Jesse Cannon (Jessica Duran) of Clayton, GA and Jeremy Cannon (Hanna) of Mtn City, GA; his siblings, R. B. Thrift (Shannon Fountain) of Clayton, GA, Jeanetta McCrackin (Clod) of Clayton, GA, Judy Ramey (Doug) of Martin, GA, Joanne Thrift of Clayton, GA, Jennie Frady (Gary) of Clayton, GA, Lorraine Kelly of Cornelia, GA and Joyce Timmerman of Gillsville, GA; and his grandchildren, Ivory Cannon, Magnolia Cannon and Mavrick Cannon. He is also survived by Several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in his memory to Hunter Funeral Home at PO Box 653 Clayton, GA 30525 to aid in funeral expenses.
