He was predeceased by: his parents, Lyman E. Talley and Leora Carver Talley; and his siblings, Russell Talley, Ronald Talley and Revelyon Carver.
He is survived by: his wife Hazel Smith Talley of Rabun Gap, Georgia; his children, Brian Talley (Candi) of Clayton, Stacy Talley (Melinda) of Webster and April Talley Cornett (Kevin) of Kingston, Georgia; his siblings, Rabun Talley of Gastonia, Relton Talley of Walhalla, Reba Webb of Walhalla, Rena Carver of Seneca, Rodean Wilson of Lilburn, Roberta Barnes and Romonia Picklesimer of Highlands; and his grandchildren, Jeffery Talley, Lauren Benfield, Amber Barnes, Morgan Talley, Kirsten Phillips, Chelsea Hill, Jessica Rojas, Christopher Rojas, Erica Rojas and Mason Rojas. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic a private funeral service will be held.
