He was predeceased by: his sons, Michael Childers and Edgar Childers; and his siblings, Noel Childers and Anne Touchton. He is survived by: his wife Ingrid Childers of Quitman; his children, Jeanette Rivet (Kenneth) of Denver Colorado and Nicole Childers (Nick) of Australia; his grandchildren, Amanda Bryant and Megan Rivet; his great grandchildren, Connor TwoEagles-Downing and Wyatt TwoEagles-Downing; and his siblings, Wilberlyn Childers (Sara) of Moultrie, Nancy Hallford of Memphis and Edna Connell (Herbert) of Moultrie. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
