She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Newell and Shirley Newell (Gunn); her daughter Amanda Martinez; and her brother Johnny Newell. She is survived by: her daughters, Belinda Dewey of Jasper, Cheryl Owens (Ernie) of Quitman and Sabrina Owens of Quitman, Georgia; her grandchildren, Heather Brown (Caleb), Desiree Parker, Angel Parker, Savannah Parker, Ryan Cashwell (Devon), Katelyn Cashwell, Courtney Ellis (Chad), Ashten Denney (Joey), Ashley Owens, Trent Owens, Katie Wells, Drake Wells, Phillip Gulliford, Tyler Gulliford and Shane Gulliford; and her siblings, Georgia Levern Stephens (Johnnie) of Quitman, Georgia and Jackie Newell (Mary Lynn) of Quitman. She is also survived by seventeen great grandchildren.
