He was predeceased by: his mother Lillie Mae Thomas; and his brother Robert Thomas of Quitman Georgia. He is survived by: his former wife Annie Ruth Carroll; his children, Gwendolyn V Thomas, Larry McCollough, Bonita Thomas Lacy, Tyrone Thomas Jr., Rondy "Duane" Thomas and Celesta Thomas; and his cousins, Diane Williams and Linda Small.
