He was predeceased by: his parents, David Daniel Johnson and Magdalene Virginia Nicks Johnson; and his brothers, Wilson Johnson and Charles "C. W.". He is survived by: his daughters, Janet Hale (Dennis) of Athens, Marsha Burgess (Michael) of Watkinsville, GA and Diane Harrell (Kenny) of Greenville, AL. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and several nieces & nephews.
