She was predeceased by: her husband Claudius O'Neal; and her siblings, Hardy Blalock, Sue Touchton and Faye Blalock. She is survived by: her children, Alton David O'Neal, Sr. of Summerville, SC, Vernon Charles O'Neal, Sr of Evans, GA, Thomas Lester O'Neal of Quitman and Darlene Novak of Medina, OH; and her brothers, Jimmy Blalock of Bainbridge, Thomas Blalock of Augusta and Richard Blalock of Valdosta. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren.
