He is survived by: his children, Teresa Parson Hill (Jeffrey), Jonah E. Parson (Tanya), Patricia Parson and Robert L. Parson; his brother Celesta Williams (Joseph) of Valdosta, GA; his aunt Annie B. Washington; his brother William; and also, Linda Demps (Charles), Carrie Parson, Gloria McClinton, Lillie Pearl Butler and William Parson (Marie). He is also survived by grandchildren and three great grandchildren; five sisters.
