She was predeceased by: her husband Ray Simpson; and her siblings, Dewey Cleveland Coody, James Alfred Coody and Mattie Elaine Coody. She is survived by: her daughters, Tina Cox of Lakeland and Lita Simpson; her granddaughters, Theresa Duncil and Tara Cox; her great grandchild Waylon; her niece Jackie Haineault of Quitman; and her siblings, Betty Vanelle Williams of Quitman, Jeanette Cooper of Augusta and Ronald Herman Coody of Quitman.
