It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Odessa Brown (Quitman, Georgia), who passed away on July 13, 2018, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her siblings, Bernice Thomas, Pasco Mitchell, Donald Davis, Arzenia Davis, Betty Jean Mitchell, Ruth Hunter and Tommy Davis; and her grandson Douglas M. Chappell.
She is survived by: her daughters, Connie B. Chappell, Margaret B. Blankumsee, Willie Mack Brown (Jo Carolyn), James C. Brown, Jr. (Irene), Horace Brown (Marion), Dessie Brown (Mary Ann) and Big Moma.
