It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nona Johnson (Quitman, Georgia), born in Barney, Georgia, who passed away on September 30, 2018, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Anna Mae and William "BillJack" Edmondson; her siblings, Junior, Hack, Remer Edmondson, Catherine "Cat" George and Geraldine "Gerry" Hendricks; her husband Charles William "C. W." Johnson; and her granddaughter Sheila Smith Huff.
She is survived by: her children, Buddy Johnson (Serena), David Johnson (Margaret), Patsy Godwin (Sonny), Marjorie Smith (Jimmy), Brenda Blair (Olin) and Debra Dozier. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, and 25 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Northside Baptist Church Building Fund.
