We are sad to announce that on August 14, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Ned Simmons of Quitman, Georgia. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Ruben Simmons and Maggie Estell Woodham of Ambrose, GA.; and his wife Ann Booth Simmons. He is survived by: his son Ned A. Simmons, Jr.; his daughter-in-law Nancy Simmons; his daughter Fran Simmons Miller; his son-in-law Jack Miller; his granddaughters, Heather Simmons of Thomasville, Lexi Masters (Austin) of Hahira and Kelly Miller Ryder (Matt); and his great grandchildren, Conley Masters and Kennedy Ryder.

The family will be receiving friends Monday from 5-7 p. m. at Maxwell-Purvis Funeral Home, The family request that you practice social distancing.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to St. James Episcopal Church or to the Presbyterian Home.
