She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Johnny Nelson and Lala Jones; her sister Alberta; her daughter Caroline; her aunt Marion Nelson; her husband Freemon Ponder; her daughters, Lisa Yearby and Annette Mackey (Ozell); her mother-in-law Rhodie Mae Ponder; her son Donnie Yearby Ponder; her grandchildren, Arthur Ponder (Barbara), Elder Raymond Ponder (Cathy), Deacon Luther Ponder (Willie Mae), Theodore Ponder (Tammy) and Daniel Hendrix; and her close friend Gloria Donaldson. She was also cherished by relatives and friends.
