He is survived by: his wife Tina Cox of Quitman; his children, Tara Cox of Quitman and Theresa Cox of Quitman; his mother Hattie Lou Cox of Cordele; and his siblings, Roy Cox (Pam) of Tifton, Marie Slenker (Robert) of Cordele and Ann Thurston (Sam) of Douglas.
