He was loved and cherished by many people including: his friend Joe; his parents, Lucious Terrell and Beatrice McDaniel Wingate; his siblings, Donald Wingate, Carlton Wingate, Lillian Floyd and Bertie Ruth Pollock; his wife Mary Frank Powell Wingate of Quitman; his son Benjamin Powell Wingate (Kristina) of Quitman; his grandchildren, Mary Anne Wingate and Monroe William Wingate of Quitman; and his nieces and nephews, Dennis Floyd, Wayne Floyd, Terry Wingate, John Wingate, Donna Treend and Dopson Pollock.
