He was predeceased by: his parents, Wordell Dukes and Ethel Renfroe Dukes; his wife Billie Jean Dukes; his daughter Cissie Hardee; his grandson Jason Harrell; and his siblings, Renfroe Dukes, Lamar Dukes and Jean Cashwell.
He is survived by: his daughters, Deborah Medders (Lee) of O'Brien, FL, Sylvia Dukes of Albany, Kimberly Dukes of Valdosta and Zee Anne Dukes of Atlantic Beach, FL; and his grandchildren, Lyndie Walden, Hugh Hart, Justin Hart, Abbi Hardee, Jake Hardee, Dalton Bruce and Jason Phillips. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandsons.
