He is survived by: his wife Maxine Sapp Hysmith; his son James Allen Jr. Hysmith; his grandson Richard Allen Hysmith; his son Rodney Hysmith (Millie Hysmith); his grandchildren, Brittany, Branden Hysmith, Jason Hysmith (Traci Hysmith), Caitlyn, Caleb, Connor, Cassidy, Cole and Corbin Hysmith; and his siblings, Cecil Hysmith (Annette) of Cross City, FL, Jimmy Hysmith of Quitman, GA and Carolyn Hysmith of Bainbridge, GA. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
