Ian William Folsom Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 26, 2025, at the age of 53, Ian William Folsom (Quitman, Georgia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Carol Folsom of Carol's Wallpaper; and his grandparents, Rev. S. G. Folsom, Leta Mae Folsom, James Ellis and Mabel Cooper.
He is survived by: his son River William Dean Folsom of Baton Rouge, Louisiana.; his brother Alan Folsom (Julie); his uncles, Griffin Folsom (Jeannie) and Kenneth Folsom (Linda); his aunt Karen Pennington (Lee); and his cousins, Seth Pennington, Erin Rushby, Alison Alred and Megan Folsom.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Calendar Philadephia Baptist Church (3091 Troupeville Rd, Quitman, GA 31643). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Baptist Church of Valdosta.
