It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gregory Miller (Quitman, Georgia), born in Elloree, South Carolina, who passed away on August 25, 2020, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his children, Armand Jerome (Cristen) and Amaris Jacinth (Christian); his wife Rehnea; his child Amari Miller; his grandchildren, Destiny Durant, Nya Durant, Harlem Miller, Justice Durant and Christian Durant, Jr.; his siblings, Juanita Dewitt, Vivian Butler-Richardson, Pia Easton, Burgess B. Butler, Jeffrey Dash, Tyrone Sheard, Steven Baker, Craig Sheard and Jason Baker; his aunts and uncles, Harriet "Dot" Aiken, Mary Fordham, Carolyn Butler, Patricia Smoot (Richard), Barbara Butler-Ham (Joseph), Willie Dash and Samuel Brown; and his friend Robert Hamilton. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, extended church family, friends.
Once here, the Millers joined Mt. Hope Missionary Baptist Church, where Gregory served faithfully with the Senior and Combined choirs, until the pandemic caused worship services to be cancelled.
