She was predeceased by: her father Joe Brown Gaskins; her grandson Brandon Babcock; and her siblings, Joyce Lancaster and Ronnie Gaskins. She is survived by: her mother Flora Bell Burnsed Gaskins; her husband David Newsome of Quitman; her daughters, Lisa Hulett (Mitch) of Norman Park and Laura Snipes (Daryn) of Hahira; her grandchildren, Taylor Newsome (Kristen), Abby Parks, Elle Shiver and Madison Gelatt (Wesley); her great grandchildren, Makenzie, Aiden, David and Cadence; her sister Linda Fox (Steve); and her brother-in-law Eddie Newsome of Quitman. She is also survived by her family as the best Mama and Mema.
