He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Hayes, and Sandra Barker Hayes, Sr.; and his parents-in-law, Frank H. Jones and Loraine Jones. He is survived by: his wife Jerri Hayes; his children, Cristi Beaty and Joel Beaty (Kelly); his grandson Wilson Beaty; his siblings, Renee Hayes and Richard Hayes (Renee Baker); his nieces and nephews, Macy Hayes, Kelly Yawn, Lidia Lawhorne, Brianna Yawn, Acelynn Yawn, Trey Wilson, Ken Yawn, Allen Michael Hayes and Haden Hayes; and his sister-in-law Dawn Thomas.
