Doyle Weltzbarker Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Doyle Weltzbarker of Quitman, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 6, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fleta Childs and Fred Weltzbarker. He is survived by: his daughters, Jan Johnson (Joe) and Jill Walker (John); his grandchildren, Morgan Faulk (Logan), Fran Webb (Blake), Steven Weltzbarker (Courtney), Anna Lee Weltzbarker, Clay Weltzbarker, Fran Surles (J. T.), Suzanne Assad (Josh) and Jake Walker (Dana Jane); his great grandchildren, Madison, Ava, Cruz, Kane, Gannon, Butler and Watson; his sisters, Lavert Parks (Wallace) and Jeanette Walsh (Henry); and his sisters-in-law, Maureen Marchant (Barney) and Mary Hamm (Gene). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the Quitman First Baptist Church (509 W Screven St, Quitman, GA 31643). A celebration of life was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
