It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dorothy Johnson of Quitman, Georgia, who passed away on January 1, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Flythe and Bessie Bonner Flythe; her husband Augustus Lane "Gus" Johnson; and her siblings, George Flythe, James Flythe, Edwin Flythe, John Flythe, Louie Flythe, Margaret Flythe Whaley and Marion Flythe Mueller.

She is survived by: her sons, Joe Johnson (Jan) of Valdosta and Jon Johnson (Gilda) of Quitman; her granddaughters, Morgan Johnson Faulk (Logan) of Macon and Fran Johnson of Quitman; her brother Charles Flythe (Laura) of Valdosta; and her sister-in-law Katherine Barker (James) of Valdosta. She is also survived by numerous nieces & nephews.
