She was predeceased by: her parents, Thelma Rives and Barnard Ivey Elsberry; her husband Rev. Lee Hamlin; her son Jon Hamlin; and her daughter-in-law Michelle Hamlin.

She is survived by: her sons, Artis, Barnard (Debbie) and David; her grandchildren, Joshua Hamlin of Lees Summit, MO, Whitney Hamlin Slenker of Gardner, KS and Leigh Anne Hoes (Joshua) of Lebanon, PA; and her great grandchildren, Lily Grace Hamlin, Paxton Slenker and Asher Slenker.
