He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Stephens and Mattie Twiggs Stephens. He is survived by: his wife Mary Wright Stephens; and his sisters, Burnadine Brown, Ernestine Rosa and LaMarion Peterson (Jessie). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
