She was predeceased by: her parents, Crawford Deems and Lucy Deems; and her spouse Jerry Gilbert Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Jerry M. Gilbert, Jr. (Shannon) of Pavo and Holly Brazel (Sean) of Tampa, FL; her grandchildren, Morgan Terry Gilbert, Courtney Lowry Gilbert, Jacob Monroe Brazel, Grant Christopher Brazel and Zander Matthew Erway; and her brother Chip Deems (Fran).
