He was predeceased by: his parents, A. J. Henry Sapp and Thelma Odom Sapp; and his siblings, Franklin Sapp and Jeanette Barr. He is survived by: his wife Frances Sapp of Quitman; his children, Kristy Wilmot (Stephen) of Sparks, Kim Sapp (Jamie) of Morven and Gene Sapp (Teresa) of North Carolina; his stepchildren, Damon Rogers of Quitman and Robin Rogers of LaGrange; and his siblings, Lonnie Sapp (Patricia) of Quitman, Raymond Sapp (Juanita) of Quitman and Maxine Hysmith (James) of Quitman. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren; several great grandchildren.
