It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Billy Gene Rentz of Quitman, Georgia, born in Adel, Georgia, who passed away on September 1, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Macon Eak and Della Mae Dove Rentz; his wife Wilma Rentz of Hahira; his siblings, Troy Rentz, Elford Rentz, Ted Rentz, Betty Jo Rentz Dawes and Sara Catherine Rentz Antulov; and his friend Judy Cousart Ellis.

He is survived by : his children, Doug Rentz of Columbus, Mike (Candy Rentz) and Vicki; his son-in-law Gary Rowe of Valdosta; his grandchildren, Caroline Rentz, Catherine Rentz, Rebecca Rentz Martinez (Frank), Garrett Rowe (Chelsea), Wesley Rowe, Ryan Rowe Justin Rowe (Melissa), Jeffrey Palombo and Nick Palombo (Abbey); and his great grandchildren, Charlotte, Grady, Jackson, Matthew, Kathryn, Hayden Rowe, Mac, Grey and Shep Palombo.
