He is survived by: his wife Pam Cooper of Quitman; his sons, William "Powell" Cooper, III (Leigh) of Suwanee, GA and Bryant Cooper (Lisa) of Valdosta; his grandchildren, Emily Fleck (Ben), Caroline Cooper, Mary Cooper, William Cooper and Samantha Ethier; and his sister Margie Nichols (Derry) of Kingsport, TN..
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Quitman Methodist Church (501 E Screven St, Quitman, GA 31643). A reception was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Quitman Brooks County Museum (121 N Culpepper St, Quitman, GA 31643).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in memory of Billy Cooper to Quitman Methodist Church, 502 E. Screven St., Quitman, GA 31643.
