She was predeceased by: her parent James Roland Knight; and her brother Jim Knight. She is survived by: her parent Mary Frances Kimble; her husband John R. Horton; her grandfather William Roland Knight; and also Clerk. She is also survived by married to for 59 years; two sons that were born to this union, John Robert (Pam) Horton, Jr of Quitman, and James Alexander Horton (Dr. Jamie Holland) of Quitman; several nieces and nephews.
