It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alton Hamlin of Quitman, Georgia, who passed away on July 24, 2020, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Alton Hamlin to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Hamlin and Mary Woods Hamlin. He is survived by: his children, Marie Boxx (Sammy) of Quitman and Will Hamlin (Cassidy) of Quitman; the mothers of children, Mary Clark Lilly Hamlin of Lake Park, Pam Vickers (Tim) of Valdosta and Michelle Bellflowers of Keaton Beach, FL; his grandchildren, Evan Snow (Megan), Kyle Vickers (Lynze), Dustin Vickers (Cassie), Keith Snow (Shelley), Autumn Clark, Warren Hamlin, Badan Hamlin and Turner Hamlin; his sisters, Rebecca Robinson of Lakeland, FL, Sharon Adkins (Charles) of Boston, GA and Kathy Bromley (Jay) of Springdale, AR.; and also Iris Ives Chastain of Valdosta. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
