We are sad to announce that on April 16, 2021, at the age of 96, Myrtle Edwards Layfield of Putney, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie L. Edwards and Parry Lee West Edwards; her husband Leonard Richard Layfield, Jr.; her son Earl Layfield; and her granddaughter Kimberly Layfield.
She is survived by: her son Roy Layfield (Carol) of Putney; and her grandchildren, Michael Layfield, Lee Layfield, Stanley Layfield and Stacy Reinen. She is also survived by 7 great grandchildren.
