He was predeceased by: his father William John; and his siblings, Frederick, Dorothy and Thelma. He is survived by: his daughter Diane Smith (Kevin) of Preston; his grandchildren, Philip Williamson (Katie) of Parrott, Jesse Lassiter (Maggie) of Americus, Rebecca "Andi" Lassiter of Preston and Taylor Smith of Preston; his great grandchildren, William Joseph Williamson of Buena Vista and Erik Siegfried Williamson of Parrott; and his grandchildren, Stephen Bowen (Doreen), Craig Williamson of Virginia and Sheila Nolton (Wes) of Virginia. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations of rose bushes for Bill's memorial rose garden he so loved, or donations to any VA hospital.
