We are sad to announce that on March 22, 2024, at the age of 95, James Harold Bankston of Preston, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Herman Bankston and Martha Susan Bankston; and his siblings, Florene Blakey, Mildred Dickerson, Erlene Vaughn, Carrie Thelma Bankston and Vernon Bankston.
He is survived by: his wife Vivian Pugh Bankston of Preston; his sons, Mike Bankston (Lee) of Moultrie and Jimmy Bankston (Debbie) of Preston; his grandchildren, Maggie Boyer, Buck Bankston, Jackson Bankston, Susan Bankston and Leslie Bankston; and his great grandchildren, Hunter, Lance, Andi, Owen and Sonny Mae.
The family has requested memorial contributions be made the Preston Methodist Church or to Antioch Baptist Church.
