He was predeceased by: his parents, Prather A. McGlaun and Mary Julia Waller McGlaun; his wife Abbie West McGlaun; and his siblings, Thomas McGlaun and Helen Surles.

He is survived by: his children, Bonnie Witt (Jackcay), Mitzi House (Bill) and Torre Naugle; his sisters, Sybil Fussell and Faye Wiseman; his grandchildren, Rob Witt, Ginger Almon (Daniel), Will House (Cassie) and Abbie Southerland (Taylor); and his great grandchildren, Hallie Almon, Witt Almon, Kensley Witt, Brooke Southerland and Finley House. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
