It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Eleanor C Shannon of Preston, Georgia, who passed away on March 9, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, David S. Chapman and Sarah Kelly Chapman; and her husband Clifton Wayne Shannon. She is survived by: her daughters, Sharon Williams (Larry) of Plains and Susan Hampson of Leesburg, Georgia; and her grandchildren, Kevin Hampson, Kip Hampson (Molly), Kyle Hampson (Whitney), Kelly Williams Kight (Jeff), Nick Williams (Kelly) and Dusty Williams (Jilliann). She is also survived by ten great grandchildren; two nieces and one nephew.
In Lieu of Flowers: Donations may be made in Eleanor's memory to the Preston Baptist Church and Phoebe Sumter Hospice.
