He was predeceased by: his parents, James Floyd Harry, Sr. and Ethel Adams Harry; and his siblings, James Floyd Harry, Jr., Evie Brazelton and Marie Thomas.
He is survived by: his wife Debbie House Harry of Preston, Georgia; his son Charley Adam Harry (Megan); his granddaughters, Alyssa and Bella Harry of Ellaville, Georgia; his daughter Ashley Harry Reeves (Andrew); his grandchildren, Lexi and Laci of Fort Benning, Georgia; his sister Judy Johns (Clyde) of Graves, Georgia; and his siblings-in-law, Mary Nell Harry of Preston, Georgia and A. J. Thomas. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In Lieu of Flowers, donations may be given in Charley's memory to the Macedonia Cemetery Fund or Mount Olive United Methodist Church.
