It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carole Jacobs of Preston, Georgia, born in Oviedo, Florida, who passed away on September 30, 2021, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ormond Simmons and Lavonda Simmons; her daughter Denise Daughtry of Clayton Alabama; her siblings, Anne Capman, Dottie Gioia and Larry Simmons; her daughter Jessica Jacobs; and her grandson Robert Wills.
She is survived by: her husband Johnny Gene Jacobs; her stepson Gene Jacobs (Kitty) of Sanford, Florida; her son William Randal Jacobs (Sherri); her grandchildren, Leah and Jamie; her son John Burch Jr. (Christina Strickland) of Ellaville; her grandchildren, Amanda Rogers, Brandon Burch, James Scott, Tishana Scott, Cory Burch, Caitlin Strickland, Brandon Strickland and Courtney Strickland-Burch; her great grandchildren, Brandy Tatum (Chester), Jessie Coleman (James), Ryan Daughtry (Josie) and Tiffany Daughtry; her granddaughters, Anita Pate (Jeff) of Louvale and Georgia; her great grandchildren, Alfred Jefferson Pate III and Danielle Christian (John); her granddaughter Diane Wills (John) of Ellaville; her great grandchildren, Austin Wills, Alyssa Wills, Alexis Wills and Johnathon McCarty; and her brothers, Wayne Simmons (Barbara) of Lumpkin, Ormond Raleigh Simmons (Myra) of Sanford, Florida and Dennis Simmons of Florida. She is also survived by 11 Great-Grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends.
